Larry Wayne Robb Jr., 57, of Princeton, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Deaconess Gibson Hospital in Princeton. Wayne was born March 23, 1966 in Princeton to the late Larry and Joyce Robb. He was a graduate of Princeton Community High School and had lived in the Princeton area his entire lifetime. Wayne collected baseball cards and nerf guns. He loved to build anything and everything, and had been woodworking since he was very young, starting at the former Wilkinson & Bates Lumber Co. in Princeton. He continued his career for 29 years with the former F&M Home and Building Supply and the past 5 years with Kirchner Building Centers in Princeton. Wayne loved his job and was great at what he did, putting in the extra effort for those he served. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Stacy (Bass) Robb; their five children, Nick Robb (Heather), Justin Robb (Justine) of North Carolina, Chelsie Robb, Austin Robb and Jasmine Robb (Will); eight grandchildren, Lexis, Bentley, Brooklynn, Gage, Maverick, Adi, Brooklyn and Justin Jr. “J.J.”; a sister, Stacy Robb of Mt. Carmel, IL; a niece, Katelyn Adams (Kyle); and a nephew, Sean Taylor Adams.
Visitation will be from 4 until 7 pm, with a brief service following visitation on Monday, February 12, 2024 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
