Laura-Lee Dunn Obituary

Laura-Lee Dunn, 62, of Princeton passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at her home.

She was born the daughter of Ray and Dorothy Andrews on January 15th in Canada and grew up in the St. Wendell area.

She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years David and son Austin at home. Son Davy and wife Katrina along with grandchildren Case, Audrianna, Gage and Aiden. A sister Cheryl Burand and husband Birdie survive in Indianapolis.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Linda, brother Ray and granddaughter Kali.

She will be remembered for her big smile filled with positive energy and her very generous nature. She never met a stranger and every life she touched was better as a result. She loved working with kids on art projects and volunteered her time teaching art at school.

One of her greatest joys came from working with the special-needs classes. She had monthly fieldtrips at the family farm and used that as an excuse to expand their menagerie of animals over the years to include cows, goats, donkeys, llamas and alpacas. She made sure that everyone had a wonderful time and would always send them home with a big hug and a goody bag for each child.

She was a natural party planner and loved making cakes and candies and going overboard on everything from baby showers, birthdays, end of school parties to some amazing company Christmas parties.

In the last few years, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking trips to Florida and her weekly visit to Guacamole Grill.

The family will host a Celebration of Life service at First General Baptist Church in Princeton at 5:00 on Thursday, August 26.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made out to First General Baptist Church. Laura-Lee would request that everyone go out of their way and make a special needs person feel extra special by doing a random act of kindness for them.
