Leslie "Les" Sullivan Obituary

Leslie “Les” Sullivan, 75, of Princeton, IN passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born November 29, 1949 in Princeton, IN to Lester Sullivan and Frances (Linxwiler) Sullivan. Les was a self-employed mechanic and in earlier years worked at Ashland Oil in Princeton, IN. He was drafted in the US Army in 1968 and served in Vietnam for 2 years. Les enjoyed spending time at the river fishing and hanging out with friends and family. He loved building, tinkering, and working on cars. Les will be remembered as a lifelong drag racer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Marilyn Lucas, Shirley (Bill) Fithian, and Barbara Julian; and brother-in-law, Al Whitler.

Les is survived by his siblings, Ronald (Stephanie) Sullivan, Kay (Allen) Penner, and Debbie Whitler; brother-in-law, Curtis Lucas; lifelong best friends, Bob Braselton and Bob Lasley; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton from 5 PM-7 PM. Military rites will be given at 7 PM by the retired military veterans.
