Linda L Duncan, of Oakland City, passed away peacefully August 29, 2021 at RiverOaks Health Campus, Princeton, IN. She was born January 29, 1944 in Cynthiana, IN to George and Wilma Schauss. Around Oakland City, she was known as the Avon Lady with over 30 years selling Avon often achieving President’s Club level. For several years, she also had Lin’s World of Treasures store in Oakland City. She was a talented seamstress with a lifelong love of sewing, crocheting, and crafting. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy.
She is survived by her daughters Davarna (Robin) Bond of Princeton, IN and Stephanie (Mark) Painter of Fortville, IN and her grandchildren Zackery and Rachel Painter.
Preceding her in death are her parents; son Vaughn Schuessler; and granddaughter Dayna Rainbolt.
A funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. CDT on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. CDT until the hour of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
