Lisa Portee Obituary

Lisa Marie Portee, 35, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. She was born November 2, 1989 in Vincennes and worked at McDonalds as a grill cook and fryer. Lisa was outgoing, but shy. But once she got to know someone, she could light up the room. She loved playing video games and card games, especially Monopoly. She enjoyed taking walks, caring for her dogs, going fishing, shopping, and going downtown to watch the water. Lisa was a horror movie fanatic and enjoyed cooking. She was a people person and one of her favorite things was spending time with family and attending the Salvation Army Church. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Linda Portee; father, Stewart R. Portee; sisters, Jessica Renee Paige (Chris) of Washington, Keshia Ladell Portee (Cody Horton) of Vincennes, and Danielle Michelle Portee (Mike) of Princeton; multiple nieces and nephews, and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Caroline Lucas and aunt, Donnetta Renee Lucus-Kirby.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton officiated by Pastor Grace Jones of the Salvation Army Church. Visiting hours will be held from 10 until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Colvin Funeral Home located at 425 N. Main St., Princeton, IN 47670 to help the Portee family will expenses.
