Lisa Wright

Lisa Lynn Wright, 60, of Vincennes passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. She was born December 9, 1963 in Princeton, IN to the late Robert Leon Wright Sr. and Barbara Genevieve “Ginny” Wright. Lisa shared her life with her long-time significate other, Jose Martinez, for 30+ years. She liked to take walks when the air turned cool, it always helped her breath a bit easier. Lisa enjoyed taking care of people and animals. You could always call on her for a helping hand. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially the grandchildren. Lisa was loved by many and will be missed.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Donald Wright and Russell Wright; and grandson, Mauricio Cavazos.  

Lisa is survived by her sons, Jason (Yvette) Cavazos and Christopher (Whitney) Cavazos; significate other, Jose Martinez; siblings, Linda (Mark) Schwartzlose, Barbara DeWeese, Robert (Myra) Wright Jr., Teresa (Carl) Johnson, Diana Wright (Dennis Turner), William Mark (Rebecca) Wright, Donna Bryant, and Tammy Wright; grandchildren, Pato, Eubin, Easton, Cruz, Cohen Cavazos; and step-grandchildren, Braxlynn and Ryker Cole.

Funeral service will be held 2PM CST Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Colvin Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Truelock and Pastor Cynthia Betz officiating and burial at Columbia White Church Cemetery to follow. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12 PM until the service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Colvin Funeral Home to aide with funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
