Louella Sue Chapman 75, formerly of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. Sue was born in Princeton on August 7, 1948, to Denver and Iona (Krieger) Shoultz.
Sue had lived in many states but most recently in Texas prior to moving to Newburgh last spring. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, but she had been a tour bus driver and a substitute teacher. She enjoyed her pet birds, fishing and genealogy research.
Sue is survived by her sister Patty (Allen) Weber of Spencer, children; Susan Chapman, formerly of Princeton, Chris Chapman (Cari) of Spotsylvania, VA, Becky Azera (Richard) of Laguna Beach, CA; 3 grandchildren: Matthew Sutherland, Jackie Sutherland and Sacha Azera.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry “Butch” Chapman in 1996; siblings Cleo Shoultz and Ruby Ott.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 16, 2024, at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, IN from 4PM to 7PM. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with the arrangements and is honored to serve the Chapman family.
