Marilyn Robinson Obituary

Marilyn R. Robinson, 84 of  Petersburg passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020 at the Memorial Hospital in Jasper, IN.  She was born in Petersburg, November 29, 1935 and had lived there most of her life. 

Marilyn had worked in factories and restaurants, but was a homemaker most of her life.  She loved sewing and her canine companion, Taz. 

She is survived by her children, Sabrina Miller (Dan), Tim Robinson, Kim Robinson, and Fred Robinson all of Petersburg and Pamela House of Terre Haute; brother, Darvin Stroud of Petersburg; 5 grandchildren, Alexa Miller, Kassie Miller, Jacob Miller, Jimmy Hegedus and Josh Miller; and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and her mother Merle Stroud, and other siblings.

Funeral services will be held at the graveside 11:30 a.m., central time, Monday, August 24, 2020 at the Walnut Grove Cemetery near Monroe City with Pastor Gene Burkhart officiating.  Burial will follow the services. There will be no public visitation. Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City has been entrusted with the services.
