Martha B. Hart, 87, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. She was born January 11, 1935 in Oakland City to John and Nana (Owens) Thompson. She graduated from Oakland City High School and Lockyear Business College. She had lived in Princeton since 1955 and had been the Office Manager at Brinks Family Practice where she had worked for over 50 years. She was a member of Hillside United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing the piano, music, gardening, canvas painting and going to grandchildren’s sporting events.
Martha is survived by her son, John Hart (Mary Ann) of Evansville; daughter, Terri Mans of Princeton; grandchildren, Aaron, Josh, Julie, Mike, Sara, Mary and Megan; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William “Bill” Hart in 2020; grandson, Sean Hart; sister, Marjorie Terrell; and brother, John Thompson.
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton officiated by Jenny White. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 11 am until the service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
