Mary K. Fritz-O'Neal

Mary Fritz-O’Neal, 92, of Somerville passed away December 24, 2018 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton. She was born February 4, 1926 to parents, Merl & Ruby (Swain) Mattox and spent most of her life in the Gibson County area. She was a homemaker and took loving care of her family. She was a member of the Protestant faith and the Eagles Club. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Mary is survived by her children, Dixie Roettger of Oakland City, Jennifer Mutchman (Eldon) of Buckskin, Beth Nobles (Rick) of Evansville, Jerry Fritz of Somerville, and Tammy Hicks (Joe) of Cincinnati, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Ermel Fritz and Ben O’Neal; and sister, Virginia Kammerer.

A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Corn Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery in Mackey. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
