Mary Jo (Singleton) Willis

Mary Jo Willis, 85, of Princeton, passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Oakland City, IN.  She was born July 22, 1937 in Princeton to Gaskel “Chat” and Pauline (Reed) Singleton.

She had spent most of her life in Princeton, spending a short time in Fenton MO.  She had worked several jobs, last working for Walmart in the Shoe Department for about 10 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl Wilson (Phillip) of Poplar Bluff, MO, Rebecca Plume (Randy) of Linn, MO, Anita Mraz (Roy) of Arnold, MO; son, Paul Willis of Princeton; grandchildren, Brian and Jackie Wilson, Travis, and Jacob Plume, and Roy Mraz, Jr., Mandy Mraz, and Bradley Willis; 2 brothers Larry Singleton (Connie) of Atlanta GA, Fred Singleton (Debbie) of Bonneterre, MO; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donnie and Patty Willis of Princeton.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Willis in 2006; brother, Jack Singleton; and sister, Juanita McIntire. 

Funeral services will be held at the graveside, 1 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023 in the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton, with Pastor Brian Wilson officiating.  Burial will follow the services. There will be no visitation. The Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with the arrangements and is honored to serve Mary Jo’s family.
