Mary K. Pickerel, 90, of Oakland City, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville. She was born December 17, 1929 in Stendal, Indiana to the late Joseph and Detsyle Randolph. She worked in assembly for 22 years at Whirlpool and was of the Baptist faith. Mary liked being outdoors and going boating with her daughter and son-in-law. She enjoyed traveling and reading in her spare time. She was an animal lover, especially her pet cats and dogs. Mary was loved dearly and will be missed.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Brenda Pickerel and Debbie Lee (Tony); step-grandchildren, Eric Lee and Emily Singleton; step-great-grandson, Andrew David Singleton; and a cousin, Darlene Fritz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Pickerel; and siblings, Beatrice Randolph, Ray Randolph, and Robert Randolph.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 5, 2020 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with interment to follow at Cup Creek Cemetery in Pikeville. A visitation will be held from 9 until service time, 11:00 AM on Monday at the funeral home.
