Michael Deputy Obituary

Michael Ray Deputy, 63, of Fort Branch, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. He was born September 5, 1956 in Princeton. He had resided in Fort Branch for the past 10 years, having lived most of his lifetime in the Oakland City area and graduated from Wood Memorial High School in 1974.

Mike is survived by his parents, Harold and Jo Ann (Grant) Deputy of Oakland City; 4 brothers, Mark Deputy of Oakland City, Max Deputy (Sharon) of Francisco, Mitchell Deputy of Oakland City and Matthew Deputy (Sarah) of Fort Branch; also, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Marty Joe Deputy in 2008.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Corn-Colvin Funeral Home in Oakland City, with Rev. Matt Malin officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forsythe Cemetery near Oakland City. Due to Covid-19 regulations, the visitation and service will be limited in the number of people allowed at any one time and social distancing will be observed. The family wants everyone to be as safe as possible during this time.
