Michael David Tislow, 79 of Hazleton passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at his home. He was born in Vincennes, IN on April 6, 1944.
Mike had lived in Hazleton most of his life. He graduated from the Hazleton High School in the Class of 1963, which was the last graduating class of Hazleton High School. He was a 50 plus year member of the Hazleton Fire Department and White River Fire Territory. Mike retired from Whirlpool in Evansville in 2004 working there for many years.
Mike is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joetta Tislow; brother, Jerry Tislow of Hazleton and sister, Sandy Adams (Bill) of Vincennes.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Leo and Margaret Tislow.
A funeral service will be held at the graveside 2 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2024, at the Shiloh Cemetery near Hazleton with Chuck Longabaugh officiating. There will be no public visitation. The Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
