Michael "Munch" Burkhart Obituary

Michael “Munch” Eugene Burkhart, 63, of Princeton, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. He was born in Mounds, Illinois on April 2, 1957. He enjoyed NASCAR races, baseball, and all sports. Most of all he loved his family dearly.

Michael is survived by his daughter, Christy Garcia; son, Seth Burkhart; sisters, Billie Wildt and Jennie Lawn; brothers, John Burkhart and Jeff Burkhart; plenty of great nieces and nephews; and his grandkids.

He was preceded in death by his father, William “Bill” Burkhart; mother and step-father, Buddy and Carolyn (Todd) Tolbert; and brothers, James David Burkhart and William Burkhart.

Due to the state restrictions caused by COVID-19, funeral services will be held at a later date.
