Mike Holland, 76, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024 at The Waters of Princeton. He was born November 24, 1947 in Princeton and served his country in the United States Army. He retired from TJ Maxx as a security guard and was a member of South Gibson Apostolic Church in Owensville. Mike loved fishing and hunting, and also loved eating fried catfish. He also loved watching westerns and Indiana University Basketball on TV. One of his favorite things to do was go to church. Mike was loved dearly and will be missed beyond measure.
Mike is survived by his sons, Shawn Holland of Princeton, Rodney Holland of Princeton, and Ron Holland (Melissa) of Princeton; grandchildren, Destin Holland, Gavan Holland (Leslie), Shadoe Holland, Hayley Krieg, and Dacia Middleton; great-grandchildren, Roran, Zayden, Calvin, Rylan, and one on the way; siblings, Joe Holland (Tammy) and Sandy McDonald (Bo); and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Holland and Lora Faye (Conklin) Holland; wife, Ina K. “Cookie” (Brandeinstein) Holland; brother, Steve Holland; sister, Sharon Wolf; and daughter-in-law, Kelly Holland.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon Saturday, June 29, 2024 at South Gibson Apostolic Church in Owensville officiated by Pastor James Freels. Interment will follow at Maumee Cemetery in Johnson. Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 until service time at the church on Saturday.
