Netah G. Roberts, 63, of Princeton, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at The Waters of Princeton. She was born August 23, 1961 in Princeton to Glenn and Netah Diane (Abell) Roberts.
Netah graduated from P.C.H.S. in 1979 and then attended Oakland City College where she received her Bachelor’s degree. She was office manager and a paralegal for the Legal Services Organization in Evansville and a long-term care ombudsman for nursing home residents.
Netah loved animals, having many pets herself, and was a volunteer at the Gibson County Animal Services. She was member of the Princeton Lions Club and a member of the V.F.W. Post 2714 Ladies Auxiliary.
Netah is survived by sisters, Audrey J. (Turpin) Morrison (Todd) of Princeton, Janet (Roberts) Young and Teresa (Roberts) Ballesteros, both of Texas; brothers, Joe E. Gamble (Tina) of Wadesville, Carl Roberts of Michigan and Wayne Roberts of Virginia; nephew, Jedidiah Gamble and his children, Curtis and Jewell; niece, Peyton Robinson; special cousin, Mary Mumford (Jim) of New Abany; along with several other nieces and nephews.
Netah was preceded in death by her parents, Netah Diane and James E. Turpin and her father, Glenn H. Roberts.
A funeral service celebrating Netah’s life will be held 3:30 pm Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the graveside in the Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton with Rev. Gary Watson and Pastor Darrell Satterfield officiating. Burial will follow the services. There will be no public visitation, The Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
