Nina Lou Reed, 81, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2023 at her home. She was born March 25, 1942 in Francisco to Robert O. Ringham and Edra Mae (Campbell) Ringham. She married Marvin Reed “Mac” on August 5, 1961, and had lived in Princeton since that time. They were blessed with almost 62 years together, and she loved spending time with her family. She worked as a seamstress at Franks Fashions and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Nina is survived by her husband, Mac Reed of Princeton; children, Edward “Ed” Reed (Yilan) of Indianapolis, Kim Blaize (Bruce) of Princeton, and Tina Thompson (Travis) of Princeton; grandchildren, Bethany Donovan (Peter) of Rosedale, Dallas Reed (Katy) of Indianapolis, Marisa Miller (Jonathan) of Ft. Branch, Tia Gooch (Cordell) of Newburgh, TaraKate Curl (James) of Evansville, and Tabi Thompson of Princeton; great grandchildren, Mia and Max Reed, and Lincoln Donovan; sisters, Betty Borah of Bedford, Roberta “Bobbie” Weiner, (Bob) of Francisco, and Jeanie Bolin (Bill) of Winslow.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Ringham.
The family will host a gathering of family and friends, from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at First Baptist Church, 800 W. Faith Blvd, in Princeton, IN, 47670 with a memorial service following at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jim Saunders officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Nina to the First Baptist Church and can be mailed to the church address.
