Noah Bailey Chavis

Noah Bailey Chavis, 22, of Princeton, IN passed away unexpectedly at his home April 11, 2023. He was born in Princeton Indiana on June 30, 2000 to Jonnie Marie (Thompson) Whitlow and Noel Bailey Chavis. Noah attended Princeton High School, where he enjoyed playing football. He liked hanging out, listening to good music, and playing with his dogs; Dopey, Selena, and Jr. Noah was very good at making whips and knives in his spare time. He enjoyed being outdoors working in the yard and going for walks. Noah is loved by so many and will truly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Johnnie Thompson; paternal grandmother, Barbara Greene; step-grandfather, Gary Whitlow; and close friend, Trenton Gibson.

Noah is survived by his parents, Jonnie (Jeff) Whitlow and Noel Chavis; siblings, Tyler Yeley, CheVaughn Chavis, and Nolan Chavis; friends that were like brothers; Collin Gibson and Diaghman Gibson; aunts, Melissa (Lonnie) Holmes and Mindy (Chris) French; uncle, Dustin Brakell; aunt-in-law, Penny (Doug) Weck; cousins, Jessica Brinker, Rickey Brinker, and Zachary Holmes; niece, A'Shiana Jones; maternal grandmother, Mary (J.P) Brakell; and step-grandmother, Carolyn Whitlow.

A Funeral service will be held at 2pm on April 23, 2023 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor Ryser officiating. Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home 12p until the service time.
