Norman Beadles Obituary

Norman “Dale” Beadles, 84, of Hazleton, IN passed away September 22, 2022 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. He was born September 4, 1938 in Hazelton, IN to the late Norman F. Beadles and Georgia (Lewis) Beadles. Dale attended and graduated from Hazleton High School in 1956. He married Janet Hudelson June 25, 1955 and celebrated 59 years of marriage before her passing September 22, 2014. Dale worked for Amax as a miner for 32 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Dale loved to play golf, watch NASCAR, and IU Basketball. Dale was a member of United Mine Workers and the Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents; children Kelly Dale and Sara Jane; and wife Janet Beadles.

Dale is survived by his children Jed (Teresa) Beadles and Becky (Randy Peil) Beadles; grandchildren Amanda (Chris) Gentry, Amber (Matt) Barker, and Adam (Brandi Sturgeon); great grandchildren Jaelyn White, Lexie White, Kendall White, Hunter Gentry, Katie Gentry, Brooklyn Peil, Cole Peil, Chase Peil, Olivia Peil, Hannah Sturgeon, and Colton Sturgeon; great-great grandchild Cora McCoy.

Funeral services will be at 3 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Gary Arnold officiating. Burial will follow at Hazleton Community Cemetery in Hazleton, IN. Visitation will be on Saturday from 1 until service time.
