Pat A. Douglas, 88, of Ft. Branch, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. She was born March 5, 1937 in Cynthiana to Havard and Lula Gertrude (Carter) Martin.
Pat had lived in rural Ft. Branch since 2000 moving there from Princeton. She was a 1955 graduate of Cynthiana High School. She was long time member of the Enon General Baptist Church where she was a very active member. Pat retired as a Veterinarian Tech for Princeton Veterinary Hospital. She was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife, still driving a combine at the age of 80. She loved gardening, crafting, and baking, being known to make the best pies ever. She enjoyed going to yard sales and spending time with family and friends. Pat was a giving person and loved doing for others.
Pat is survived by her husband, Gerald Douglas of Ft. Branch; children, Larry Wallace (Kathy) of Patoka, Harry Wallace (Cindy) of Patoka, Bonnie Pinkston of Patoka, and Tracy Wallace (Cassie) of Washington; grandchildren, Ryan Wallace (Kari), Kyle Wallace (Crystal), Courtney Deffendall (Casey), Christy Wallace, Nick Wallace (Andrea), Cassie Hicks (Corey), Jake Wallace (Makayla), Brandon Pinkston, and Cyi Gomez; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Harry Wallace; brother, Eugene Martin; and sister, Joyce Brown.
A funeral service will be held 12 p.m. Monday February 9, 2026 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Pastor David Depositer and Pastor Tammy Scheller officiating. Burial will follow at the Liberty Cemetery in Cynthiana. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until the service time on Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Enon General Baptist Church, 3467 S US Highway 41, Princeton, IN 47670. Envelopes will be available the funeral home.
