Patricia Smith Obituary

Patricia Ann Smith, 80, of Princeton, IN passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025 in Clarksville, TN. She was born January 3, 1945 in Bicknell, IN to the late Edward Felix August Lagneau and Loretta Mae (Privett) Lagneau. Patricia graduated from Bicknell High School. She Worked at Wal-Mart for 13 years before she left to care for her father and mother. Patricia enjoyed gardening, tending to the house plants, working in the yard, baking, reading, and watching storms roll by from the front porch.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles “Chuck” Smith; brother, Eddie Lagneau; granddaughter, Kristian Utley; and great-granddaughter, Laylah Mason.

Patricia is survived by her children, David Crumbaugh, Mark Velasquez, Loretta Ann Graves, and Amber (Art) Utley; siblings, Johnny (Sandy) Lagneau, Bruce (Terri) Lagneau, and Shavona Neville; grandchildren, Gavan (Leslie), Dominique (Dennis), Issac, Tesia (Diaghman), Samantha, Katrina, Nathan, Phillip, Brandy, Alicia, Brian, and Syd; great-grandchildren, Benjamyn, Ritchie, Roran, Kaladin, Jackson, Brian, Brayden, Rose, Addison, Evelyn , Lily, Cody, Keara, and Kylah.

A private family graveside will be held at a later date at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Ft. Branch, IN with Pastor Darrell Satterfield officiating.

Memorial donations can be made to Colvin Funeral Home, 425 N. Main St. Princeton, IN, to aid in funeral expenses.
