Patricia Sandefer Obituary

Patricia S. “Pat” Sandefer, 84 of Princeton passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Home in Oakland City.  She was born April 7, 1941 in Vincennes to Elmer and Doris (Holt) Roach.

Pat had lived in Princeton since 1966 moving here from Vincennes.  She was a homemaker and operated a child care service for 50 years, taking care of many kids in this community. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church. Pat enjoyed watching the QVC channel, loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren. She enjoyed animals, feeding and watching birds.  Pat especially enjoyed cooking for her family and making Christmas special for everyone in the family.

Pat is survived by her husband, Joe Sandefer of Princeton; children, Andy Sandefer (Connie) of Princeton, Mickey Sandefer of Indianapolis, and Lori Keenan (Brad) of Princeton; grandchildren, Lenae Greenwell (Beau), Nathen Keenan, Alec Sandefer (Katlynn), Kylie Windes (Tyler); great grandchildren, Luke, Leo, Bowen, Addy and Isaac.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Brandt Sandefer; and sister Donna Carie.

A funeral service celebrating Pat’s life will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, with Pastor Brad Keenan officiating. Burial will follow in the Columbia White Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the service time on Saturday.

Memorial contribution may be made to the First General Baptist Church, 2101 E. Broadway, Princeton IN. 47670.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
