Patricia Arlene Sharp, 63, recently of Fort Branch, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. She lived her entire life in the Oatsville area and was born in Princeton October 26, 1959 to Roy White and Marth Jean (Krieg) White. Patty worked for 23 years as a fork truck operator at Mid-State and then for another 18 years at TBIN as an injection operator. She loved being outdoors and coloring in adult coloring books in her spare time. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson, he was her pride and joy.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Kat Hill (Michael) of Fort Branch; mother Martha White of Owensville; significant other of 30 years, Terry P. McKasson of Fairfield, Illinois; grandchildren, Corbyn Roy Hill, Payton Bennett, and Brice Bennett; great-grandchildren, Sage and Raylin Bennett; sisters, Nancy Montgomery and Michelle Cates (Bob); nieces and nephews, Misty Krieg, B. J. Lewis, Heather Campbell, Ben Brashear, Jay W. Cates, Nathan Cates, Matthew Cates, Jessica Overfield, and Joshua Manning; and sisters-in-law, Debbie Stahl, Dawn Like, and Peggy Sharp.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy White; son, Benjamin “Bub” Cory Sharp; siblings, Danny Krieg and Cindy Brashear; niece, Aimee Sturm; and siblings-in-law, Dyla Krieg, Steve Montgomery, Jerry Bryan Sharp, and Chris Sharp.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, March 31, 2023 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with interment to follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus. Visiting hour will be held from 12:00 Noon until 1 Friday at the funeral home.
