Pauline (Lloyd) Waldroup 80, of Princeton, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 in Newburgh, IN. She was born February 2, 1943, in Princeton, IN to the late Earl and Vivian (Stoneberger) Lloyd.
Pauline was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. She loved knitting and crocheting, especially making afghans, and keeping her mind sharp by working crossword puzzles and playing ipad games. She enjoyed going to dinner at least once a month with her best friends from high school, Dorothy Hackworth and Mary Margaret Hilliard. She also enjoyed spending time in her backyard on the swing drinking tea and coffee. She dearly loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved them so very much. They were her life.
Pauline is survived by her daughter, Pauletta Hall of Newburgh; grandchildren, Destinee DeJarnett and Jakob Hall; great-grandchildren, Chance Davis, Jayahna Stillwell, Anthony DeJarnett Jr., and Jayla DeJarnett; sister, Brenda Price; another close friend, Joretta Hart; and her animal companion, Savior.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Waldroup in 2021; parents; and siblings, Mary Hubbard, Kate Raymond, Junior Lloyd, and Doyle Lloyd.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton, with Pastor Alyssa Beadle officiating and burial to follow. Visitation will be from 11:30 to 1:00 p.m. at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.
