Pearl Louise Burns, 97, of Princeton passed away Sunday, November 19, 2023 at the Deaconess Gibson Hospital in Princeton. She was born December 24, 1925 in Pike County to Melton and Uba Rae Stephens.
She had lived in Princeton for the past thirty years moving here from Arizona. She retired from working for Motorola while living in Arizona. She attended the Francisco General Baptist Church, was a former member of The Order of Eastern Star, spent a lot of time and enjoyed working in genealogy.
She is survived by her son, Tim Burns (Veronica) of Spring Hill, FL; three grandchildren, Christine Lee Burns, Jonathon Edward Burns and Sandra Leeann Rodgers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn H. Burns; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Willis.
A funeral service will be held 12 p.m. Wednesday November 29, 2023 at the Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will follow in the Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time on Wednesday
