Phyllis J. Williams

Phyllis J. Williams, 96, of Princeton, IN passed away peacefully at her home March 4, 2024. She was born November 2, 1927 in Poseyville, IN to the late Horace Wiley and Armith Jane (Connor) Wiley. Phyllis graduated from Owensville High School. Shortly after high school she married the love of her life, Ralph A. Williams, on June 8, 1947. They were blessed with 57 years of marriage before his passing in 2004. Phyllis worked as a cashier at IGA for 30 years. She was member of Enon General Baptist Church. Phyllis enjoyed spending her time sewing, tending the garden, and watching sports on TV, especially Tennis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Williams; siblings, Mary Katherine Richardson, Fern Whitehead, Dorothy Nutter, and Clifford Wiley.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Shoan (Jim) Finch.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024  at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton.
