Rev. Larry C. Meadows

Reverend Larry C. Meadows, 75, of Princeton, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022 at his home. He was born May 2, 1947 in Princeton to the late Paul Meadows and Loretta (Tipton) Meadows. He got his first car at the age of 12 and was a mechanic ever since. He owned and operated Meadows Sunoco Gas and Service Station, which was the last full service station around. Larry also served over 30 years as a minister and pastoring one church for 24. Both serving the Lord and being a mechanic led to a full life. Larry was a member of Princeton Holiness Tabernacle and for the last few years he ministered directly from his front porch. Larry was a very caring and loving father and always had a home for stray animals. He will be greatly missed.

Rev. Meadows is survived by his sons, Larry Wayne Meadows (Lee Anne) of Fort Branch and John Wayne Meadows of Evansville; grandchildren, Meagan, Candyce, Jocelyn, Madeline, Madison, Magnus, and Jessi; great-grandchild, Scarlett; brothers, Kerry Meadows and Gary Meadows; sisters, Terry Meadows, Mary Key, Julie Kendall, and Amy Fugate; several in-laws, nieces and nephews, and his beloved church family.

He was preceded in death by his parents;  wife of 47 years, Karen (Minnis) Meadows; sisters, Sherry Pendleton and Susan Caudill; and brother, Barry Meadows.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with Rev. Kenneth Hurst officiating. Burial will follow at Blythe Chapel Cemetery in Owensville. A visitation will be held from 4 until 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Princeton Holiness Tabernacle located at 321 S. Hart St., Princeton, IN 47670. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
