Richard Pease Obituary

Richard Lewis Pease, 68, of Hazleton, IN passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at his home. He was born November 13, 1955 in Burbank, California to the late Robert Lewis Pease and Delores Jean (Roy) Pease. Rick proudly served in the US Navy from 1972 until 1976. He worked for 15+ years as maintenance for Mid-State Rubber in Princeton. After leaving Mid-State, Rick worked as a Mechanic in his garage. He loved spending time in nature hunting and fishing. Rick enjoyed tinkering in his garage, working on engines, and teaching others about being a mechanic.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bob Pease.

Rick is survived by his children, Brandon (Dana) Thomas, Travis Thomas, Justin (Brooke) Pease, and Abby (Shane) Render; siblings, Ruth Ann (Jerry) Stucki, Michael (Laura) Pease, and Maye Mcilveene; sister-in-law, Becky Pease; and several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Colvin Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with Rick’s care.
