Richard Williams Obituary

Richard Joe Williams, 85, of Princeton, IN passed away Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Deaconess Gibson Hospital. He was born in Mt. Carmel, IL January 18, 1939 to the late Paul Williams and Amelia (Kling) Schuster. Richard graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1957. He worked as a Tool and die maker for several companies around the area. Richard retired from Potter and Brumfield and Whirlpool, but also worked at Hurst Manufacturing. He was a member of the VFW. Richard enjoyed going fishing, hunting, and camping in younger years. He loved riding motorcycles, driving fast cars, and looking at good classic muscle cars.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Paul Williams and mother, Amelia (Morris) Schuster.

He is survived by his daughter, Roberta (Bill) Wright; grandchildren, Michael (Ashley James) Wright and Jennifer Wright; great-grandchildren, Jayden Wright and Harper Wright; ex-wife, Connie Williams; and beloved dog, Dutchess.

Funeral services will be held at Columbia White Church Cemetery June 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. with Gary Underwood officiating.
