Robert Blaize Obituary

Robert Wayne Blaize, 85, of Hazleton, IN passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025 at The Waters of Princeton. He was born January 27, 1940 in Hazleton to the late Arthur A. Blaize and Selma L. (Harting) Blaize. Bob graduated from Hazleton High School in 1959. He worked at Deaconess Hospital for 21 years in the environmental services department doing housekeeping. Bob enjoyed spending time in the outdoors fishing, camping, and picking berries. He also liked going to wrestling matches and gospel concerts. Most importantly he loved having fellowship with his family.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, John Morrison.

He is survived by his son, Eric Blaize; sisters, Brenda (Bryce) Collins and Betty Morrison; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton with burial to follow at Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the service time at the funeral home.

For those who wish, memorial contributions can be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
