Obituary

Robert Lee Helm, 77, of Princeton, IN passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023. He was born July 27, 1945 in Columbia Kentucky to the late Toy William Helm and Mary Lou (Cape) Helm. Robert retired from the Gibson County Highway Department as an operator. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in earlier years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Glenda Sue (Goodloe) Helm; sons, Edward L. Helm and Stephen E. Helm; grandsons, Robert W. Helm and Kyle E. Helm; sisters, Regina Todd, Barbara Knight, Bessie Meece, Lilli Lamar, Katherine Cross, and Joan Biddle; and brother, Ernest R. Helm.

Robert is survived by his son, Robert W. Helm (Kelly); step-sons, Brian Moore and Jeffrey Moore; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jamie Sharp, Debbie Hall, and Judy Abbott.

Visitation will be held at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 5p-7p. A graveside will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 2pm.
