Robert “Bob” Vaughn Fisher, 67, of Princeton, passed away, Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville. He was born July 8, 1952 in Gary to the late Troy Fisher and Beth (Hutchens) Fisher. He worked as an Iron worker at the Local 103 for over 30 years. He was good with his hands and enjoyed hunting and fishing. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed having pets around especially his loyal dogs.
Bob is survived by his children, Christopher Cintron, Kyle Galanos, Kyla Fisher, Kelli Fisher, and Colby (Ashlyn Packer) Fisher; 5 grandchildren, Oktober Fisher, Kaislee Galanos, Kee’jai Packer-Fisher, Tegan Dugger, and Jai’ah Packer-Fisher; sister, Troyanne (Paul) Libassie; mother of his children, Niki (Mike) Galanos-Tenbarg; and his best friend like brother, Bob Swafford.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, Draken Howey; and sisters, Virginia Saksa and Verna Wilson.
A funeral service will be held at 5:00 PM Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton. A visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until service time, 5:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. There will be no graveside service per Bob’s request.
