Robert "Robbie" Reinhart Obituary

Robert “Robbie” Reinhart, age 78 of Valparaiso, formerly of Princeton, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 4, 1943 in Princeton to the late Philip and Blanche E. (nee Newberry) Reinhart. Robert retired from Whirlpool where he worked as a millwright and supervisor. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Princeton. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Moose Lodge 354 where he held every position up to the President of the State of Indiana. He gave back to his community on holidays when he would dress up as the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus. He will be remembered as a fun loving, sweet man, he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his nephew, Bob (Denise) Wolfe; niece, Karlene Wolfe; great niece, Cassie Wolfe and great nephew, Kyle Wolfe and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his significant other, Helen Byrum; sister, Phyllis Reinhart; and his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 pm CDT Saturday, November 6, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 410 S. Race St., Princeton, with Father Gary Kaiser celebrant. Burial will follow at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Haubstadt. Visitation will be from 9 am until 12 pm CDT Saturday at Colvin Funeral Home, 425 N. Main St., Princeton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Moose Lodge philanthropic organizations, mooseheart.org or moosehaven.org. Envelopes will also be available at Colvin’s.
