Roberta K. Dicus, 62, of Princeton passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. She was born in Mt. Carmel, IL, May 31, 1962. to Benjamin Robert and Pauline Geneva (Ward) Dicus.
Roberta had lived in Princeton most of her life and graduated from Princeton Community High School. She was a lifelong member of the Salvation Army Church in Princeton and worked as a cashier at the Caseys convenience store in Princeton for about 20 years.
Roberta is survived by a brother, David Dicus; brother-in-law, Danny Schmett; nephew, Jacob Schmett; nieces, Tiffany Huffstetler, Kim Dutton, Jenny York, Becky Montgomery, and Christie Kirtley; several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Roberta was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Pam Dicus, Sarah Schmett, and Shirley Hayes; and great niece, Anna Jolynn Dutton.
A funeral service celebrating Roberta’s life will be held, 1 p.m. Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Salvation Army Church, 205 S. Gibson St., Princeton, IN. Burial will follow the services at the Oddfellows Cemetery in Princeton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time on Friday.
