Rosemary Kendle, 72, of Evansville, passed away at her home Saturday, March 21, 2026. She was born in Princeton, IN on March 26, 1953 to the late Daniel Franklin Kendle and Eva Mae (Grubbs) Gray and graduated with Princeton High School Class 1971. She was a member of Grace Assembly Church in Evansville and loved her church family especially getting hugs, and deeply loved her own family. She loved her animals like they were her children.
Rosemary is survived by her fiancé, William “Bill” Dilbeck of Evansville; sisters, Cindy Kuhn (Brian) of Allendale, Illinois, Missy Johnson (Dennis) of Fairfield, Illinois, and Heather Kendle of Browns, Illinois; sisters-in-law, Melinda Kendle and Donna Kendle; several nieces and nephews; and close friends, Brenda Hardiman and Vickie Milburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Daniel “Bud” Kendle and Mark Kendle; maternal grandparents, Mary and Darrell Decker; and paternal grandparents, Mary Alice Kendle, and Frank and Goldie Kendle.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 10, 2026 at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton, with Pastor Roger Tabb officiating. Inurnment will follow.
