Rosita Gutib (Malinao) Wilkerson

Rosita Gutib (Malinao) Wilkerson, 73, of Princeton and formerly of North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Heart-to-Heart Hospice in Evansville. “Rosie” was born March 22, 1951 in Cavite City, Philippines and married Leslie Dale Wilkerson, Sr. on February 17, 1971 and he survives. Rosie was such an avid, experienced seamstress and her crochet abilities were phenomenal. She was known for her generous spirit and never knew a stranger. 

Rosita is survived by her husband of 53 years, Leslie Dale Wilkerson, Sr. of Princeton; children, Bobby Wilkerson (Paula) of Aydlett, North Carolina, Leslie Dale Wilkerson, Jr. of Powells Point, North Carolina, Debbie Belangia (Bud Kight) of Shiloh, North Carolina, Marcia Whetstone (Jeremy) of Princeton, Nora Nichols (West) of Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina; 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruby Settle (Robert) of Virginia.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Priscila Degusman.

No public services will be held.
