Ruth Eileen (Montgomery) Bye

Ruth Eileen (Montgomery) Bye, 78, of Francisco, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at her home. She was born August 23, 1946 in Francisco and worked as an LPN in healthcare around the Gibson County and Evansville areas. Ruth had strong ethics and stood up for what she thought was right. She believed in a clean house and worked hard at keeping it that way. She loved feeding birds of all kinds, especially hummingbirds and enjoyed bird watching. She was dearly loved and will be missed.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 44 years, Glen Bye of Francisco; son, Jamie Patterson of Ozark, Arkansas; daughter, Susan Patterson of Ozark Arkansas; step-sons, Fred Bye, Keith Bye, and Brian Bye all of Vincennes; brothers, Ken Montgomery of Francisco and Keith Montgomery of Mackey; sisters, Mary Kromer (Dave) of Mackey and Karen Beasley (Jack) of Francisco; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Carl Montgomery and Eileen (Adams) Montgomery.
