Ryan Scott Ellerbruck, 40, formerly of the Oakland City area passed away October 31,2025 at his home in Evansville. He was born November 13, 1984 in Evansville to Walter and Jane (Dent) Ellerbruck. Ryan had previously worked as a cook at Denny’s Restaurant in Oakland City for several years.
Ryan graduated from Wood Memorial High School in 2004. He lived in Evansville for the past 2 years moving there from Lynnville. Ryan enjoyed history, watching many different documentaries, and older automobiles.
He is survived by his twin brother, Bryan Ellerbruck of Lynnville; step-brother, Mike Drew of Jasper; sister-in-law, Brandy Ellerbruck of Somerville; nieces and nephews, Lander, Aleyah, Brylee, and Blayne Ellerbruck.
Ryan was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Joe and Michael Ellerbruck.
There will be a service at the graveside in the Davidson Cemetery near Giro, in Pike County, 11 a.m on Friday, November 14, 2025. Burial will follow the services there.
