Sandra June Wirth (Holland) McDonald, 75, of Princeton, IN was called home to the Lord Sunday, August 31, 2025 at her home, surrounded by family. She was born October 17, 1949 in Princeton, IN to the late James Robert Holland and Lora Fay (Conklin) Holland. Sandy married William Wirth August 17, 1968 and was blessed with 40 years of marriage before his passing September 1, 2007. She found love again and married Bo McDonald, October 24, 2009 and they were blessed with nearly 16 years together. Sandy was a member of South Gibson Apostolic Church in Owensville and Greater Grace Apostolic Church of Oakland City. She was a devout Christian that loved the Lord. Sandy enjoyed collecting angels and traveling. She cherished her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sandy is loved by many and is already deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, William Wirth; and siblings, Mike (Ina “Cookie”) Holland, Sharon Wolfe, and Stephen (Mary) Holland.
Sandy is survived by her husband Bo McDonald; children, Billy (Annette) Wirth, Brad (Kristi) Wirth, Branden Wirth; and daughter-in-law, Angela Wirth; brother, Joe (Tammy) Holland; brother-in-law, Ron Wolfe; grandchildren, Tyler, Tiffani, Tristan, Mikayla, Noah (Ryleigh), Jayden, and Jase; great-grandchildren, Brylee, Wyatt, Clara, and one on the way; her fur baby, Trooper; many nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins.
A funeral service will be held 11 AM Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Colvin Funeral Home, 425 N. Main St. Princeton, IN with Brother Jim Freels officiating. A graveside will follow at Decker Cemetery in Patoka. Visitation will be held 9 AM Thursday until the service time.
