Shirley Ann Bartley

Shirley Ann Bartley, 89, of Princeton, passed away Friday, July 4, 2025 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. She was born May 20, 1936 to the late Ray and Lois DeCoursey. She was a long-time member of Francisco Methodist Church and loved the Lord. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Shirley is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Virgil R. Bartley. The couple celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on May 27, 2025. She is also survived by her son, Virgil Wayne Bartley (Bonnie); daughter, Linda Buck (Dana); granddaughters, Ashley Henehan (Ryan) and Allison Luster Bartley; great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Laine Henehan; brother, Ray DeCoursey; and sister, Sandy Sloan (Mike).

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Joe DeCoursey (Ann); sisters, Helen Peterson (John) and Kandy Heerdink; and sister-in-law, Carol DeCoursey.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Francisco Cemetery in Francisco with Pastor Rick Lance officiating and burial to follow.
