Shirley Ann Hayes

Shirley Ann Hayes, 69, of Princeton, IN passed away August 8, 2024. She was born in Princeton, IN on July 5, 1955 to the late Benjamin Robert Dicus and Pauline Geneva Dicus. Shirley owned and worked at Hayes Automotive for 20 years. She liked to collect frog statues. Shirley attended the Salvation Army Church off and on. She will be missed dearly.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Pauline Dicus; siblings, Pam Dicus and Sara Dicus.

She is survived by her husband, Anthony “Tony” Hayes; children, Kimberly Dutton, Kristina Hayes, Joshua Hayes, and Angie Hayes; grandchildren, Tallon, Jordan, Tory, Kylie, and Terrick; 4 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Roberta ‘Bert’ Dicus and David (Clara) Dicus.

A funeral service will be held at the graveside in the IOOF Princeton Cemetery at a later date. Burial will follow the services there. Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
