Stanley Brubeck Obituary

Stanley Joe Brubeck, 85, of Giro, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at his home, after a lengthy illness. He was born on January 6, 1939 in Princeton and was a graduate of Princeton High School. He was an avid hunter with his beagle dogs and enjoyed spending time at the American Legion in Princeton. He retired from the former Whirlpool Corporation in Evansville after 36 years there.

Stanley is survived by his children, Brian Lee Brubeck (Laura) of Everett, Washington and Rebecca Sue Combs (Dave) of Vincennes; 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Mark Myers (Terri) of Princeton and Mel Myers of Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents, H. Paul Brubeck and Marjorie (Warren) Myers; and also, a son, Jody Brubeck.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Gentiva Hospice for the care given to Stanley during his illness.
