Stephen M. Bettag

Stephen M. Bettag, 69, of Oakland City, IN was called home to be with the Lord Monday, February 24, 2025 in Evansville, IN. He was born February 8, 1956 in Evansville, IN to the late Elmer Bettag and Margaret (Brown) Bettag. Steve attended Clarks Chapel Baptist Church. He liked to hunt and fish in earlier years. Steve loved every aspect of his church family, especially helping out when he could.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kimberly Bettag; and brother, Mark Bettag.  

Steve is survived by his son, Robert (Amber) Bettag; grandchildren, Blaize Austin Bettag, Kileigh Nicole Bettag, and Brody Michael Bettag; siblings, Cathy (Mike) Antey, Sherry Reynolds, Vicki (Jeff) Bryant, Tom Bettag, Kenny Bettag, and Lenny (Maria) Bettag.

Funeral services will be held 12 P.M. Monday, March 3, 2025 at Colvin Funeral Home with Jeff Bryant officiating. Visitation will be held Monday 10 A.M. until service time. Burial will follow at Columbia White Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Colvin Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
