Stephen B. Curtis

Stephen B. Curtis, 69, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. He was born March 6, 1957 to the late Charles F. Curtis and Linda Lou (Sims) Curtis and worked at Whirlpool for 19 years. Stephen was a Princeton Community High School graduate class of 1975 and attended Oakland City University on a basketball scholarship. Stephen was a member of the Oakland City Eagles Aerie 4288. He was loved and will be missed.

Stephen is survived by his uncle, Greg Sims of Winslow; cousins, Jody Sims and Brian Sims both of Westfield, originally from Loogootee; and friends, Dennis Kolb and David Miskell.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM (CST) Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Augusta Cemetery (also known as IOOF Cemetery) in Augusta, Indiana. Interment will follow.
