Susan M. Crase, 67, of Princeton, IN passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 18, 2026. She was born July 24, 1958 in Gary, IN to Richard Maleck and Marilyn (Smith) Maleck. Susan graduated from Hobart High School in 1976. She took a position with Union Federal Bank and delivered newspapers in her younger years. Susan worked as the Secretary to the Princeton Mayor for 20+ years. She owned and operated Susan’s Painting for 20+ years and helped her late husband John with his roofing business. Most recently, she worked for Wal-Mart as a front-end manager. Susan was a member and attended Hillside United Methodist Church, Bethel Memorial Church, and The Oasis Church in Princeton. She participated in Quilt helpers, a quilting group from Haubstadt. Susan was proud to be sober since 2019 and loved helping people through the program. She truly would help and give everything she could for people, even when she didn’t have anything left to give. Susan enjoyed the vast shopping options on Amazon. She liked making sure her house was decorated perfectly and for every season. Susan enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, tending her flowers, and painting. She was a true animal lover and cherished her fur babies, Romeo, Frosty, Baby, Beastly, Hallie, Millie, and Molly. Susan will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and caring friend. She is already deeply missed by many.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, John Hulett and Donald Quinn; infant child, and grandmothers, Marie Much and Violet Quinn.
