Tamara M. McIntyre, 59, of Hazleton, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 in Norris City, IL. She was born on June 25, 1961 in Oklahoma City, OK. She lived in Hazleton for 6 years moving from Princeton. She had worked as a sales clerk at Maidlows Liquors. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. She was an avid reader, enjoyed collecting Mickey Mouse items and doing word search puzzles.
Tamara is survived by her daughters, Stephanie McIntyre-Miller (Patrick) of Pendleton, Starlina McIntyre of Hazleton and Stasha Johnson (Samuel) of Evansville; father, James Zink (Lindsey) of Florida; grandchildren, Joantya & Xarra Miller, Tre’Mierse & Jayvyn McIntyre, E’Vontaye McIntyre, E’Javione & Sta’Vesha Cunningham and Sa’Mareah & Sa’Mauren Johnson; siblings, Terry Zink (Sheila), Andy Page (Christina), Sandy Stokes (Keith), Albert Madison (Amy), Alvin Madison, Althea Brown, Mike Zink and Jason Zink.
She was preceded in death by her mother Eva (Elkins) Madison and husband, Stephen McIntyre.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, October 9, 2020 at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton, officiated by Rev. Floyd Edwards. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Patoka. A visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the funeral home. There will be limited seating due to state mandated COVID-19 regulations. Social distancing and masks are required.
