Teresa Polston Obituary

Teresa Jane Polston, 61, of Princeton, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville. She was born September 29, 1961 in Princeton to the late Ernest White and Pearl (Jones) White and worked at TJ Maxx Distribution Center. Her family was her life; she enjoyed spending time with them, cooking for them, and sharing meals, especially on Sundays. She loved having lunch with her sister and Teresa will be remembered as a “foodie”, in her younger years making the very best homemade apple pies and delicious beef tips with rice. Her love for ice cream and sweets will live on for generations. Teresa wasn’t only an expert on food, she was an expert in showing love. She’d declare herself a “hippie” at heart, but her family just knew her as one of the most caring women. Knowing that she’d give her last dollar if it meant she’d helped someone.

Teresa is survived by her daughters, Michele Davis of Patoka, Laci Holland (John) of Princeton, and Desiree Hornback of Princeton; sister, Mary White (George); many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and fur babies, Chiquita and Sissy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Michael Polston; infant daughter, Bonita Louise Polston; 2 infant grandchildren; siblings, Leonard White and Sherri Coomer; and fur babies, Sammy and Grunkles.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, April 3, 2023 at Mount Olive Cemetery near Mount Olympus with Pastor Jason Clark officiating.
