THELMA JEAN BRUNER

Nov. 5, 1936 – June 25, 2020

Thelma Jean Bruner died in Lexington, Kentucky on June 25th at the age of 83, following a long illness.  She was born in Oakland City, Indiana.   Thelma was married to Buddy Bruner for 26 years.  She is survived by one brother, Owen (Faye) Fair, three daughters, Kathryn (Michael) Wise, Kristi (Dwight) Stump and Lisa (Keith) Latham and 8 grandchildren.  She was a homemaker for several years, went to college then made a career as a medical records coder until she retired.

Her passion was genealogy, and she spent years researching her family’s history.  She also loved to travel, square dance and read.

She will be interred in Somerville Cemetery, located in Gibson County, Indiana. A private graveside memorial will be held at a later date.
