Thelma "Louise" Hollingsworth Obituary

Thelma “Louise” Hollingsworth, 91, of Princeton, Indiana, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on September 10, 2021. She was born on March 26, 1930, to Melvin “Cotton” Norrick and Lora Jenkins Norrick. She previously owned L&M Ceramics in Francisco, Indiana, where she taught the making and painting of ceramics. Along with her love of creating ceramics, she also enjoyed family gatherings, playing cards, and Wii bowling. She was a member of the Anderson First Church of the Nazarene in Anderson, Indiana, where she helped with bereavement dinners and was known for her excellent deviled eggs. Her love for the Lord never wavered.

She is survived by four children: Steven (Jodi) Scales of Fort Pierce, FL, Janet (Rick) Weidig of Vincennes, IN, Randy (Shelia) Scales of Princeton, IN, and Cheryl (Steven) Stoldt of Princeton, IN; nine grandchildren: Harold “Ace” Scales, Margaret Scales, Jacquelynn McCarty, Matthew Weidig, Patricia Meiszner, Randy Scales, Jr., Elizabeth Kelley, Shaun Hollingsworth, and Emily Hollingsworth; fifteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings: Harold Norrick, Earl Norrick, Pauline Everman, Shirley Bookout and Audrey Coleman.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm (CDT) Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Columbia White Church Cemetery in Princeton, with Rev. Henry Wade Nelson officiating. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery for the service. There will be no visitation at Colvin Funeral Home in Princeton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Princeton Christian Church, 219 N. Gibson St., Princeton, IN 47670.
